Historical Talks – May 2014

Witney Festival of Food & Drink


If you did not get a chance to visit the first Witney Festival of Food & Drink in 2013, then put a note in your diary for Saturday 17th of May 2014.

St Marys

Once again, it is being held at St Mary’s Church on Church Green with over 60 food and drink stalls, demonstrations, talks and activities.

Open from 9:30am – 5:00pm, with the official opening at 10:00am

Admission £2.00 | Under 12s free

Witney Museum & Historical Society

Welcome  to the first edition of the Newsletter for our new society, Witney Museum & Historical Society!

We hope to be able to provide you with interesting articles and regular features such as our Witney Then & Now series plus up-to-date information on events, talks, exhibitions and walks.

Your involvement in making this Newsletter successful is very important so if you have an article on a local history topic or would like to see particular features in your Newsletter do please get in touch, your input would be very much appreciated. Also if you have suggestions regarding speakers that the Society might invite to talk to us they would be very welcome indeed.
